Here’s what the SMDHU is stating about COVID numbers in Muskoka

Since June 26 there has been a week over week increase in COVID-19 cases reported for people who reside in the District of Muskoka.

The following chart was provided by the health unit, with numbers specific to Muskoka:

Chart provided by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit shows infections rising in Muskoka since June 26. The health unit has announced that the region is officially into its seventh wave of COVID, affected by the omnicron BA.5 subvariant.
