There were four new COVID-19 cases reported in Muskoka today, all of them in Huntsville/Lake of Bays.
The origins of all four infections are currently under investigation by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit. The cases are two 0-17 year-olds, one 18-34 year-old and one 45-64 year-old.
Huntsville has had 133 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began, nine of which are currently active. Lake of Bays has had 30, five of which are currently active.
Elsewhere in Muskoka, the active case counts are:
Muskoka Lakes – five
Bracebridge – nine
Gravenhurst – two
Georgian Bay – none
To date, 42,925 people in Muskoka (75.7 per cent) have received a first dose of vaccine; 23,297 (41.1 per cent) have received two doses.
