Greens will be making a stop in Huntsville on Sunday

Ontario’s first Green Member of Provincial Parliament, Mike Schreiner, will join Gord Miller, former Environmental Commissioner for Ontario and Parry Sound-Muskoka Green candidate leading up to the October 21 federal election, to meet with the public and supporters on Sunday at the Active Living Centre.

“With climate change on everyone’s minds, Mike Schreiner will bring a message of optimism that Greens can deliver the solutions we need by embracing the $26 trillion global clean economy—creating jobs in areas like renewable energy, transit, advanced manufacturing, sustainable forestry, local food and farming and more,” said organizers in an event notice.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with a start time of 7 p.m. This is a free event; registration is not required. The Active Living Centre is at 20 Park Drive, Huntsville.
