Huntsville community members have come together to organize an exciting fundraiser to help establish a four-season outdoor sports pad at the Lions Lookout field.
Join them at the Canada Summit Centre in Huntsville on Saturday, October 22, as the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Team featuring Wendel Clark, Rick Vaive, Al Iafrate, and other former Maple Leaf greats, play a group of local players in a charity game.
The event is being hosted by the Rotary Club of Huntsville. Organizers promise a fun evening for a good cause. Community members, as well as the late Ross Kirwin, have been talking about the need for an outdoor sports pad for some time. With this fundraiser, which will also see Huntsville Mayor Karin Terziano lace up, a new pad is closer to becoming a reality.
The event runs from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. General admission tickets are $20 or $15 for those 12 and under.
Get your tickets before they sell out, here.
