An impaired driver found out recently you can run, but you can’t hide from the Huntsville OPP.
Jason Lamb, 42, recently appeared in a Bracebridge courtroom to plead guilty to driving with over 80 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood in his system.
Court heard that on January 11th, 2024, at 8:25 p.m., the Huntsville OPP received a call regarding a collision near the Novar exit on Highway 11. When police arrived, they found the vehicle in the median but had no driver.
The police were able to follow footprints in the snow, which led into the bushes, and a K9 unit was called to attend.
Police eventually caught up with Lamb, who was now walking along a different section of the highway with just one shoe on. Police observed signs of impairment and he admitted to having consumed alcohol.
He ultimately blew readings of 160 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood, double the legal limit.
He was sentenced to a $2,000 fine and a 12-month driving ban.

I agree Bill, there does seem to be DSIUW syndrome going around.
You can interpret DSIUW anyway you want LoL
John , You would have to incarcerate a 1/3 of the general population with that criteria !
He should have been given another two years in jail for being an idiot.
