From the Burk’s Falls and District Food Bank
The Burk’s Falls and District Food Bank is giving thanks to FEED ONTARIO for their incredible support in ensuring the organization has adequate resources to serve those in need within the communities they serve.
Late last year they applied for and received a Feeding Fundamentals Grant which will support the upgrade/replacement of a few of their old and unserviceable fridges/freezers.
“This ‘increased capacity’ will allow our Food Bank to receive additional offers/donations that, previously, we were unable to accept,” according to the food bank.
Receiving additional deliveries from various sources will have a big impact on the quantity and quality of food items that they will be able to provide to clients.
“The Burk’s Falls and District Food Bank is extremely grateful for all the support we receive from Feed Ontario,” they added.
