UPDATE: Body of snowmobiler recovered

From OPP Central Region: The missing snowmobiler was located deceased and recovered today (January 23) at 2:35 pm by OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit Divers and Georgian Bay Township Fire Services from the icy waters of Six Mile Lake. Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Club trails are closed in the area.

Two snowmobiles broke through the ice of Six Mile Lake near O’Leary’s Island leaving the operators in the water.
