It’s very egg-citing. There’s a new business in town and it’s egg-actly what some farmers are looking for.

Currie’s Corner Farm is pleased to announce the opening of the first licensed Egg-Grading Station to serve Muskoka and surrounding area farms. It is located at 116 Bethune Road North in Huntsville,

According to owner Brian Currie, farmers who wish to expand their markets beyond farm-gate sales to include restaurants, Food Co-op stores, Grocery Stores and Farmer’s Markets must have their eggs graded by an Egg-Grading Station licensed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Currently local farmers must travel as far as Newmarket to have their eggs graded.

Currie’s Corner Farm is pleased to offer Egg farmers in the area the convenience of a local source for their grading requirements with a significant lower cost of travel.

Currie’s Corner Farm also offers eggs and chicken for sale on a self-serve honour system basis.
