On Sunday June 25, 2018 just after 2:00 a.m. Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a robbery that had just taken place at a local convenience store/gas station in downtown Huntsville.
Members of the Huntsville detachment attended the store and found that the suspect had just left, prior to their arrival. With the assistance of the Emergency Response Team including K-9 unit the male suspect was not located.
Huntsville OPP along with Muskoka Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in helping to locate this suspect. He is described as approximately 6 feet tall, in his late 30s possibly bald. He was wearing a black hoodie and black sunglasses underneath the hoodie, along with a black mask. See attached photos.
The suspect made off with several packages of cigarettes and cash.
