Bring your ideas! District and OPP to host community stakeholder forum to plan 2018 Muskoka Safe Roads Campaign

The District of Muskoka and local OPP Detachments are working together to plan a public education campaign to help make Muskoka’s roads the safest they can be.

The preliminary goals of the campaign are:

• To Slow Down (reduce speeding)
• To Share The Road (promote AT + construction safety + animal crossings)
• To Be Safe: (reduce distracted/impaired driving)

We need your help! As a first step, we are hosting a community stakeholder forum in a few weeks to help plan the campaign.See attached invitation and please share with your networks.

Join us at the forum to learn about strategies that have been used by other communities and to exchange local ideas and resources available.
