This was inevitable, I’ve warned the parents and the kids in this area about this.
They think it’s their right to do it.
On our road it’s ongoing despite one young man’s death and injuries to another from an ATV.
Bylaw doesn’t care, OPP won’t do anything, parents are just “boys being boys”.
I’m sick of it and wish I could afford to move.

I wish you could move too. Those kids are reckless.

Puzzled by your remark Cool.
There is an astounding record of injuries for youth on off road vehicles.
You condoned this?

Easy to blame our towns bylaw and the O P P, parents should love their kids and show them right form wrong.oh do what you want and let the victims take the blame.. there is lots of space in Western Canada you could consider moving to, acres of barren land no roads.but they do have morals.

This issue falls on permissive parents who don’t seem to know the word NO ! It would seem ” out of sight out of mind ” is the philosophy of some . Maybe these charges will get the attention of the offending parents .
P.S…..It often happens that a few actors ruin it for the many !

To be clear, I’ve called bylaw with no result, OPP say can’t catch them, take photos.
Parents don’t care, my neighbor stopped the adult on private land and he had an infant in hand and no helmets, claimed he could ride anywhere he wanted because it’s an existing trail.
The town and the province hold responsibility for this situation because they allowed ORVs on roadways despite all the factual statistical information that shows they don’t belong on the road.
Even the manufacturer’s say you shouldn’t do it.
If I buy a car I’m required to meet certain safety standards to drive it, ORVs are not.
Parents that allow their kids on the road, any road, are gambling with their most precious thing. Their child’s life.
