Deadline for young women to register for Camp FFIT is June 2

Camp FFIT (Female Firefighters in Training) is being held in Huntsville the week of August 9 – 13, 2017.

Young women aged 15 to 18 are encouraged to register online for this exciting opportunity. Registration closes on June 2, 2017.

There are four placements reserved for residents of the Township of Lake of Bays. (Sponsored by the Council of the Township of Lake of Bays and the Lake of Bays Association.)

Camp FFIT gives young women the opportunity to explore this fun, exciting, and physically challenging profession. During this camp they will learn and practice a variety of firefighter skills and work as a team with other young women in a supportive, nonthreatening environment.
