As part of their customer appreciation celebrations in June, Bullock’s Your Independent Grocer invited Community Living Huntsville (CLH) to be part of their event.
Customers were asked to make a donation to CLH at the cash as they checked out with their groceries. CLH staff and individuals supported by Community Living Huntsville had a strong presence throughout the week of June 1-8 to help make the event a success. They packed bags, helped shoppers to their car with groceries and were available to answer questions about the organization.
Lucky customers were delighted with songs sung by Zack Fitzsimmons (Zack Fitz Live) and an in-store performance by the All Abilities Dance Troupe (people of all abilities who come together for the love of dance).
On Wednesday, July 31, a cheque for $2,467 was presented to Community Living Huntsville.
CLH is grateful for the support of local businesses like Bullock’s Your Independent Grocer and the continued generosity of the Huntsville community. It is through events and donations like this that CLH is able to continue its mission of inclusion for all individuals in North Muskoka.
