Cheer on Ironman Muskoka 70.3 athletes this Sunday

This event brings people from all over the world to experience what our amazing community has to offer.

The Swim portion is in Fairy Lake and then ends in the river near the Summit Centre, the Bike portion will be on Brunel Road to Baysville, and on Hwy 117 toward Dorset. The Run course is going to be heading out Main St, to Aspdin Rd, and out Old Ferguson Rd and Gun Club Rd, and back into Town.

The week of this event will have many athletes practicing on the course so please be cautious on the roadways so we can keep everyone safe.

On July 10th, please expect delays through the day throughout the course and avoid the area if you can – give plenty of extra time to get to your destinations and plan alternate routes. There are no road closures this year but there will be OPP-controlled intersections to ensure the safety of athletes.

Well at least they got if off the main 4 lane traffic routes this year.
If it is hot they can all stop for a beer at Baysville on their way! Get some local flavor!
