This is 24 Main St. East, Huntsville, now the Main St. Local Kitchen.
According to Muskoka Heritage Place records, the building was rebuilt shortly after the great 1894 fire. For 60 years, the building served as a grocery store, Cash/Corner Grocery. It was remodeled as a restaurant in 1955, a use that has remained ever since as the Haven Restaurant from 1955 to 1967 and later Logan’s Restaurant, The Elegant Restaurant, Galaxy Restaurant, Louis II from 1994-2017, and now Main St. Local Kitchen.
