Still looking for that perfect Christmas gift for someone in your life? You may find it at the Rotary Club of Huntsville’s annual Christmas auction, plus you’ll get bonus ‘nice’ points from Santa for supporting your community.
Rotary’s auction features more than 300 items valued at a total of $55,000. There are gift cards for local restaurants and stores, artworks, tools, toys, gift baskets, and more.
Online bidding is underway, which culminates in a live auction on YourTV Muskoka on Sunday, Dec. 5. Almost $25,000 has been raised online already.
Funds raised in the annual auction, which typically top $40,000 each year, support organizations like the Huntsville Hospital Foundation, community projects like the club’s recent facelift of Hunters Bay Trail, and its human development fund which helps people access basic needs they can’t afford like eye glasses, walkers, or emergency relief if their Hydro is cut off.
You must register to bid, even if you registered last year. And on those must-have items, you can even set a maximum bid amount and let the system bid for you.
Register to bid at huntsvillerotaryauction.com.
