YWCA Muskoka Enterprising Women’s Conference helps build community and knowledge

YWCA Muskoka will be presenting an Enterprising Women’s Conference at the Algonquin Theatre on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 that will feature a keynote speaker, informative panels, and a Women’s Roundtable hosted by Hon. Tony Clement.

The event will take place on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 9 – 5:30 p.m. at the Algonquin Theatre in Huntsville, ON. Tickets are $55 for Members, $65 for Non-Members and are available online at ywcamuskoka.com or by phone: 705.645.9827

Our morning will consist of keynote speaker, Seema Pabari of Tiffinday. You may have eaten her delicious foods that are available in some of our local retail establishments. Seema has an inspiring story of how she began her journey in the Food industry and how her business has evolved over the years. She brings a unique perspective on how to remain focused on your personal philosophies about sustainable businesses while creating a successful company. Ms. Pabari will be followed by a Muskoka Food Panel that will consist of local women who are successfully running businesses in the industry. They will discuss their best practices, struggles and what they feel are their keys to success. There will be a question and answer session during this panel.

The afternoon will consist of a Funding Panel and Women’s Roundtable. During our Funding Panel service providers will be explaining the process of securing funding for your business. Panelists will also be open to questions from our attendees.

Our Women’s Roundtable will be an opportunity for everyone to share their experiences, struggles, and gain valuable insight into both the experience of being an Enterprising Woman in Muskoka and what they see as their most valuable successes.

We will end our time together with a Mix and Mingle where attendees and panelists can network and enjoy some bites to eat.

YWCA Muskoka believes in bringing women together to both support each other and share their experiences. Connections strengthen our business community through enhancing working relationships and creating a network of women who are supportive of one another’s successes. Women are a huge part of the fabric of the Muskoka business community and we at the YWCA are so pleased to offer a conference tailored with the Enterprising Woman in mind.
