According to the Ontario Ministry of Transportation work at Muskoka Road 2 and Highway 11 is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
“The Muskoka Road 3 bridges were completed in 2022 and the Highway 11 Muskoka Road 2 is expected to be complete by the end of this year,” noted Ministry spokesperson Tanya Blazina. “To minimize daytime disruptions to traffic and businesses located near the two interchanges, all work occurs in the evening.”
She said the contractor on the project “recently initiated repairs on some areas of the paved road where the asphalt was unsatisfactory” at their expense.
Paving was completed last evening on September 19, 2023.
