It looks like playing on the road was just what the doctor ordered to get the Huntsville Jr. C Hawks back on track.
Saturday night they edged Cornwall Celtics 10-9 and then followed that up Sunday afternoon with a 16-10 romp over Gloucester Griffins.
The Hawks trailed 5-4 after the first period, but three goals by Joshua Zantingh in less than two minutes into the second period changed the momentum of the game and the Hawks never trailed after that.
Zantingh had a total of six goals and three assists to lead the offensive attack while Chris McLaughlin added four goals. Kole Smith and Shea Greenaway of Huntsville each had two goals. A.J. Campbell scored his first goal as a Jr. C Hawk.
