Tuesday Bike Night
Join Algonquin Outfitters for an adult mountain bike ride, every Tuesday evening all summer long. Everyone welcome. Explore some of the best places to ride in the local area with this no-drop group of riders. Bring your own mountain bike and helmet to participate. Bike rentals are available if you book ahead. (Check the link above or the Algonquin Outfitters Facebook page for cancellations due to weather.) Runs all summer until September 3.

Concerts on the Dock series
The final concert of the season! This week: the contemporary tunes of young local musician, Luke Murphy. Check the Algonquin Theatre Facebook page for cancellations due to weather.

Thursday Paddling Night
Join Algonquin Outfitters for this weekly sunset paddle. Bring your own canoe, kayak or paddleboard or take advantage of discounted AO rentals ($20) for the evening paddle. No experience required – teaching of skill, passing of wisdom and having of fun will be had! For information on cancellations due to weather, call 705-787-0262. Runs all summer until September 5.

Friday, August 30, 7-9 p.m.
Friday Paint Night at Deerhurst Resort
Paint your own little masterpiece under fun guidance by local artists Gerry Lantaigne and Helena Renwick. Suitable for all ages.

Parkrun
A timed 5k run or walk. Everyone is welcome.
