It’s Wayback Wednesday brought to you by Cavalcade Color Lab! What is now Café Wilgress was once a bookstore. Can you name some of the other businesses that also resided in this historic building? (Photo courtesy of Muskoka Digital Archives.)

Bill Weber filled in the why: “It was for initiation day. The senior class had a theme and there was an assembly and a stage performance. The theme was the gangster era.”
Maureen McVittie provided the date: “It’s the inside cover of the 1976 yearbook”
And we learned some of the names:
Teri Souter wrote: “Carole Hipwell, front and centre, beside Ken Moorehouse.”
Carole Hipwell added: “Rick Hawkins, Marg Cope, Todd Sargeant”
And SP Creates chimed in with: “Chris Mason, Greg Sharpe and Mr Henry is in the back right corner .. I forget his first name …very sad he is no longer with us …”
Thanks, all! If you know anyone else in the photo, add their names in the comments below.

My husband Bill Colvin and his Queens University classmate Larry Jones opened their first law office in that building in 1968.
