yes these 2 drivers were going too fast and deserve tickets but stunt driving and impounding their cars is too much in this case. this a speed trap on hwy 60 where the cops sit in the water treatment plant parking lot and pluck drivers off just as the speed limit goes down to 70km an hour. everyone is driving 80-100 km on this 4 lane highway and then the speed limit suddenly drops. driving 90-100 does not feel reckless here as its a highway. getting caught doung 120 definitely deserves a hefty ticket and points taken but in no way were they stunt driving and deserving of having their cars impounded and losing their license for 30 days. this was not driving 90km through a school zone, this is a speed trap.

Agree 100% with what Craig posted. And it’s not just on the 11 & 400 series highways. Just this morning I was on my way home on a 60 km/h posted township road, only to look in my mirror to see a boom truck ( from Newmarket) loaded with a septic tank trying to basically “drive over me”. I guess that the driver thought that he could intimidate me into speeding up. But, it didn’t work out that way.

I am really glad to see this enforcement. Speeding, weaving, and tailgating are getting beyond out-of-control. I regularly see cars driving 50+km/h over the speed limit on highway 11 and 400.
