Now in its 30th year, Canada’s Best Managed Companies remains one of the country’s leading business awards programs recognizing Canadian-owned and managed companies with revenues of $50 million or greater for innovative world-class business practices. Hundreds of companies compete for this designation annually in an independent process that evaluates management abilities and practices.
This is TULLOCH’s first year winning the Best Managed award. To attain this designation, TULLOCH was evaluated on its leadership in the areas of strategy, culture and commitment, capabilities and innovation, governance, and financial performance.

Canada’s Best Managed Companies program continues to be the mark of excellence for privately-owned Canadian companies. Every year since the launch of the program in 1993, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies have competed for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates their management skills and practices. I had the pleasure of being a guest at an engineering awards evening in Toronto the same night that Tulloch was announced as a recipient of the Best Managed Companies award.
At our event Tulloch was recognized for being leaders in community support and development through their commitment to, and collaboration with, numerous local organizations. The specific example was their Platinum sponsorship of the Hockey Night in Huntsville event held last November in Huntsville.
Talking to a few of their team leaders it was very interesting to hear how large Tulloch’s footprint has become in all aspects of the engineering profession, not just Locally and Provincially but also Nationally and Internationally.
To have this rapidly growing, primarily white collar type employer in our community is a real asset, and a great example of what can be. We need more companies like Tulloch.
