Township of Lake of Bays announces completion of Norway Park upgrades

The Township of Lake of Bays announces that the upgrades at Norway Point Park are now complete! While the work wrapped up this fall, the refreshed park will be ready for everyone to enjoy when the warm weather returns in 2026.

Visitors can look forward to:

  • A new family‑friendly beach with better lake access
  • A berm that helps protect water quality by filtering runoff
  • A new native planting plan that stabilizes the shoreline and supports biodiversity
  • More seating, clearer views of the lake, and improved walking paths

This project was guided by community feedback through the 2023 Parks, Open Space & Recreation Strategy. For more information on the Norway Point Park revitalization project, please visit: engage.lakeofbays.on.ca/NorwayPoint
