Town of Huntsville releases update on River Mill Park playground enhancement

The Town of Huntsville has reopened a portion of the River Mill Park playground, which includes two new play structures.

The community is welcome to use and play on the open portion of the playground. There will continue to be construction in the vicinity, and barricades and signage are in place to ensure public safety and advise of the partial closure.

If there is any money left, how about replacing Tom Thomson’s signature pipe……it’s been missing since last summer!

Can someone explain the “why” to me? We are from Bracebridge and I would come with my kids to this playground whenever we were in Huntsville. It was probably the best playground in Muskoka, after Hanna Park in Port Carling. Why was there a need to change it? I’m sad to see it gone and a little frustrated that money was spent on something that didn’t seem to need to be changed.
