The town is reviewing and updating its official plan and a second draft is now available.
The Official Plan is a document which considers the town’s unique circumstances and identifies a vision as well as policies to guide land use and development.
Two open houses have been scheduled to give the public an informal opportunity to review and provide comment on the second draft of the Official Plan.
A copy of the second draft of the Official Plan and other information on the project is available on the town’s website: huntsville.ca/opreview.
The date, time, and location of the two open houses are as follows:
– January 8, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. at the Port Sydney Community Hall, 607 Muskoka Road 10, Port Sydney
– January 10, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. at the Huntsville Civic Centre, Partners Hall, 37 Main Street East, Huntsville.
