Do you remember Huntsville’s Town Drug Mart? It was located across the Street from the Empire Hotel. We’re not sure of the year when this photo was taken, but it looks like the pharmacy was located where CIBC is today. Do you have any recollection of this pharmacy?

Do you have interesting photos from days gone by to share? We’d love to see them! Email: [email protected]

yes it is Linidgren Storage today. the CIBC went up around 1978.
Did Town Drug Mart not become Pharmasave 29 Main East?
This rings a bell for some reason.
I believe that pharmacy was owned by Paul Whitehead then ultimately moved to the Eatons building and is now Pharasave
I remember Pastime Hobbies (Cathy Woodworth) in that location as well good old Beehive donuts next door
Yes Cydney, I believe you are correct. I recall as a child buying chocolates for my mom on special occasions at the drug store. I don’t recall when the CIBC building went up either, unfortunately.
Actually, I believe that Town Drug Mart was located in the building that currently houses Lindgren Mini Storage (3 Main Street West), and Main Street Dental Centre (3A Main Street West) is where Beehive Donuts used to be (partially also in the picture). This picture was probably taken during the late 1970s or early 1980s. The CIBC building came later, although I can’t tell you when.
