Spruce Glen Public School returns to hold and secure due to bears on property

UPDATED AT 3:13 P.M.: The Spruce Glen Public School hold and secure is still in place. As a result, the school will be conducting an indoor dismissal process.

Dismissal information has been shared directly with parents/guardians via SchoolMessenger.

The Huntsville OPP and Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry remain on site and continue to work on safely relocating the bears.

Spruce Glen Public School is currently under another hold and secure, due to bears on the property. All students and staff are safe, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and Huntsville OPP are on site. They plan to safely relocate these bears.
