Halloween is just three sleeps away and kids are literally bouncing with excitement. Riverside Public School held a Spooktacular Halloween on Wednesday (October 26) and it was the perfect way to get students and their families outside for some spooky-good fun! The event featured a haunted hike, a variety of kid-friendly games and (thankfully, because man it was chilly!) a bonfire and apple cider. Admission was by donation and proceeds were directed to the Grade 7/8 year-end trip.
- Jacob McMillan spooked so many people on Wednesday night. The way he had set up the fake limbs made passersby think twice about the fact that is was actually a human lying on the ground and he would randomly pop his head up to moan and groan.
- You can’t really tell but Bryce Cousineau-Walsh is actually smiling behind that creepy mask.
- The school trail, a.k.a. the Haunted Trail, was decorated to the nines with cobwebs, glowing tealights, freshly-dug graves and not to mention the zombies and ghouls roaming the forest.
- Josh Stuckless was more friendly than he appears.
- Ian Marshall was hanging from a tree greeting the haunted walk attendees.
- The school trail, a.k.a the Haunted Trail, was decorated to the nines with cobwebs, glowing tealights and this sign
- Grade 8 student Adrianna Card was one of the prettiest witches on the trail, clearly not there to make children scream.
- This guy was quitely lurking in the woods.
- Dozens of kids and their parents braved the chilly temperature and came out for some spooky-good fun.
- Sarah Spring and her adorable kitty Susannah Pratt.
- Shannan Pratt, Archer Clayton, Maddox Hicks, Emrys Clayton and Theo Sternberg are all cute and cozy by the fire.
- Little ones sipped warm apple cider and chatted about kid things as the event wrapped up.
