Public sector salary disclosure for last year, also known as the “Sunshine” list, will be presented to Huntsville’s General Committee on March 1.
Seven Town of Huntsville employees made it on the sunshine list for 2016, with an eighth position being seconded from the District of Muskoka and expected to be reported through the upper-tier municipality.
In 2015, nine Town of Huntsville employees received a salary of $100,000 or more. You can find that story here.
Organizations that receive public funding are required to disclose annually the names, positions and salaries, as well as taxable benefits of employees who earn $100,000 or more under the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act. That information is then published on the Ministry of Finance website on March 31 of each year, which also contains archival years and can be accessed here. Below is are the names who made it on the list in 2016.
