There is one more option in town if you need a ride. YDRIVE officially launched in Huntsville yesterday afternoon.
Company co-founder and CEO Rob Davidson says they’re starting with a small roster of drivers and will continue to hire more as their client base grows.
YDRIVE is similar to Uber, you download an application on your phone, input where you are going and it will give you the cost of the fare and enable you to track your driver.
This week the company is running a promotion as part of its launch. Using the promo code YDRIVE will get you $20 off your fare, making it essentially free to travel within most places in Huntsville’s core. The offer expires at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.
You can download the app here.
