Renowned stuntman, Steve Gagne, will be offering a Taekwondo program in Huntsville, the only one of its kind in the area. Officially launching on Thursday October 5, 2017, the studio is located at 171 Hutchenson Beach Road, Unit 3. Gagne is the owner and will also be the Head Instructor.
In a span of 30 years, Steve’s experience and skills in various martial arts styles has been seen far beyond the training mats, from world class exhibition events throughout North America to appearances across world-wide television screens as a professional stuntman. With such recent credits as Star Trek: Discovery, Shadowhunters, The Witch, and Designated Survivor (click here for complete listing), Steve’s perseverance and devotion to his craft have made him a household name.

After seven years of ownership under Impact Martial Arts Academy in Sudbury, Steve recently established roots in Muskoka, and with that a new beginning. With a deep connection to nature and respect for all living things, Muskoka Kicks Taekwondo was born.
Steve’s mission has always been to be an inspiration to younger generations, and to equip each student with a set of valuable life skill tools on their path to self-empowerment.
In addition to the official launch day, Muskoka Kicks Taekwondo will be hosting a FREE open house Introductory class on Saturday, September 30 from 1pm to 3pm. Everyone (7 years and older) is invited to come out and ‘kick’ it up a notch with a FUN, FIT and SELF-DEFENSIVE class.
Taekwondo is a Korean form of Martial Arts, widely known as an Olympic sport. Training consist of advanced kicking, basic punching, forms, sparring (contact fighting), self-defence, weapons and flexibility. Its direct translation is ‘The Arts (Do) of Hand (kwon) and foot (Tae).
