On Saturday, August 30, dozens of people participated in the first-ever Yoga Fest. The free event, which was hosted by Ahimsa to promote and celebrate yoga, took place from sunrise to sunset at the Huntsville town docks. Participants were led through various styles of yoga by teachers and instructors from local yoga studios. Donations collected at Yoga Fest were directed to the YMCA.
