On Wednesday, April 19, Mark Inglis of York Urbanist, will be holding a public meeting at the Active Living Centre (main floor) starting at 6:00 p.m. [See Doppler’s coverage of the previous public meeting here.]
The purpose of the presentation is to address the planning for a new multi-use recreation community centre at the McCulley-Robertson Sports Complex. The key new elements for this presentation will be the following:
- After consideration of 10 locations in Huntsville, McCulley-Robertson Recreation Park has been selected as the site for a new multi-use recreation facility
- Site planning criteria leading to a preferred location for a multi-use recreation facility within McCulley-Robertson Recreation Park
- Suggested timeline and preliminary business plan
- The results of the stakeholders’ meeting
- Next steps will be discussed
