Port Sydney/Utterson and area chamber celebrates Greg Wilson as Citizen of the Year

The Port Sydney/Utterson & Area Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year Award is presented annually to one person who has made a significant contribution to the Port Sydney/Utterson community. To qualify, a recipient must live in the community; exemplify community spirit; add to the quality of life for others in the community, and be known for going the extra mile by volunteering when he or she sees a need.

This year’s recipient was chosen for being one who never lets anyone down; always goes over and above; takes time out of his own schedule to help others; genuinely cares about our community and everyone who lives here, and for being a positive person who always has a big smile.

Born and raised in Port Sydney, this recipient is a well-known face in the community. He has developed a reputation for being knowledgeable, reliable, helpful, and friendly during his 25 plus years working at Dean’s Home Hardware.
