Fairy Avenue from Main Street East to Mill Street is expected to remain closed with emergency access only until November 14 at 5 p.m.
All access to Fairy Avenue will be closed while a forcemain pipe is being installed. There will be signs indicating detour routes. There will be access to Fairy Ave for local traffic only from Mill Street. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained. Please plan accordingly and allow for additional travel time.
Sidewalks will not be affected; flag a worker to cross the road and or request to walk alongside Fairy Ave–directions will be given. Waste collection services will continue as usual during the closure. Residents can put their waste collection items out on their regular collection day. Please keep in mind the area will be a construction zone, and conditions may change daily.
To ensure everyone’s safety, please plan your travel ahead of time, follow site directions and follow posted detours.
