Access to Fairy Avenue from King William Street to Mill Street is expected to remain closed until November 18 at 5 p.m. while the forcemain pipe is being installed.
Signs are in place indicating detour routes. Access into Fairy Ave is restricted to local traffic from Mill Street. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
Please plan accordingly and allow for additional travel time. Sidewalks will not be affected; flag a worker to cross the road and/or request to walk alongside Fairy Ave– directions will be given.
Waste collection services will continue as usual during the closure. Residents can put their waste collection items out on their regular collection day. Please keep in mind the area will be a construction zone, and conditions may change daily. To ensure everyone’s safety, please plan your travel ahead of time, follow site directions and follow posted detours.
