Announcement expected to reveal changes, particularly in the roads department
Huntsville CAO Denise Corry would not confirm or deny whether Executive Director of Transportation Infrastructure Jason Krynicki is still employed with the Town of Huntsville.
“I am unable to provide a statement at this time,” said Corry when pressed on the matter.
The Town’s organizational chart, posted on its website on January 31, 2017, has eliminated the Director of Transportation position. Instead, it is showing roads, fleet and public transportation infrastructure has been merged with parks and cemeteries as well as protective services under a newly created Director of Operations and Protective Services position.
Prior to the posting of the new organizational chart, the Director of Protective Services was Steve Hernen. Corry did confirm that he is now serving as the interim Director of Operations and Protective Services until an announcement on the divisional structure associated with that position has been formally announced, particularly as it relates to the Town’s public works department. She said an official announcement by the municipality would be made soon.

Since Sara departed 7+ Years ago. This ongoing turmoil is costing the taxpayers significant dollars in terms of payouts and time it takes for new Heads to become familiar with the Town infrastructure.
