Our Town with Grant Nickalls

Our Town with Grant Nickalls replay: The most important building in Huntsville

Each week, Huntsville’s own Grant Nickalls will inspire us, entertain us, make us laugh or perhaps cry, but always he will remind us why Huntsville is the best place on earth to call home.

This week in Our Town: we first shared this video about our local hospital two years ago. It’s arguably the most important building we’ve got, and we stand to lose it but not without a fight. Grant’s comments are more relevant today than ever.

  1. Why do we even have this discussion. Thanks Grant. I agree with your passion. Keep OUR hospital right where it is. Thanks for the folks who give their time and effort to keep it the caring, loving, place it is.

I agree! Without our hospital, many of us will be lost. Unfortunately, the hospital issue is off the radar for the upcoming election, but don’t expect the GTA-centric focus to change with a change in the ruling party.
We need to keep mobilized, and attack the problem at its source – the bloated, highly paid bureaucracy. This system of entitled civil servants and political appointees adds no value to the delivery of quality health care, rather, obstructs logical arrangements….outside the GTA.

  3. Jim Sinclair says:

Well spoken Grant. I agree with you about those “Puppets”. They are truly the biggest problem.
Here and now let me say that for every patient who dies due to Huntsville being denied a full care hospital, let it be on those Puppets’ heads.
That will be their legacy forever.
Note: If this sounds an overwhelming statement, it is due to the passion in Grant’s plea. It said it all.
