No injuries reported in school bus collision in Huntsville

A school bus was struck by another vehicle at the intersection of Lorne and Main Street West in Huntsville on Friday, Jan. 23.

According to the OPP, there was very little damage, and although students were on board, there were no injuries.

Main Street West was down to one lane on Friday evening, pending further investigation from the Collision Reconstruction Unit .

    This is a very dangerous intersection at the best of times with very poor oncoming traffic sightlines. I live in the area and rarely use the intersection unless I am turning onto to Lorne St S from the West end. Thankfully no one was hurt however we may not always be so lucky. Maybe given the large number of school buses trying to cross both morning and evening some sort of crossing system be put in place to allow safe passage?
