Much media, no news. I’m curious (maybe so I don’t become another statistic) about how this accident happened? The police must have it all figured out and it would be instructive for the future, might even guide decision making by all who use this area, to know exactly where and how this happened. Was it visibility issues as I sort of suspect or ice covered areas, traffic, lighting, it would be nice to see a full report somewhere.
We can’t learn from accidents and mistakes without the factual data.

I agree.
I have always been anxious about Brunel Rd…whether driving, walking or biking.
It would have been a good thing if they had taken the slight “hill” out of the road on the approach to the Main Street, when they had it all torn up not so long ago.
Sidewalks, traffic lights, slower speed limit, police presence with ticketing, would all help.
