A Gravenhurst man found himself behind bars after a violent attack.
Lucas Koskinen, 32, of Gravenhurst appeared in a Bracebridge courtroom recently to plead guilty to assault with brass knuckles and three counts of breaching probation.
Court heard that on Aug. 27, 2024, Bracebridge OPP were called to an assault in progress taking place in Gravenhurst. Koskinen and another man had become involved in an argument regarding possible stolen property. The argument became physical, and Koskinen hit the victim in the mouth.
Koskinen was sentenced to 76 days in jail, served in pre-trial custody.
