I believe that I’m the best candidate to represent Parry Sound-Muskoka as I represent the Party with the best platform. I believe that it’s the platform that people should be voting for, and not the individual. I believe that all voters should be fully aware of the policies and election platform of all the Parties. It’s the policies that are the most important. I believe that my background in the private sector (Chemical Industry) and in Education make me an ideal candidate.

This pandemic has been hard on everyone and particularly challenging for the most vulnerable members of our community. While community builders struggle to keep people from falling through the cracks, the empire builders are reaping massive profits. I believe that I have the connection and commitment to community that makes me the ideal candidate to represent the people of Parry Sound – Muskoka. I made a commitment to service several years ago and have worked and volunteered to support the most vulnerable members of our community both locally and nationally.
The NDP pushed for the $2,000 CERB benefit instead of the proposed $1,000 for individuals and increased the wage subsidy from 10 per cent to 75 per cent to support our businesses. The NDP is the party that brought public healthcare to Canadians and will expand it to include pharmacare, dental care and mental health care. I am proud to be a member of a party that will improve the lives of ordinary Canadians.
Conservative Party, Scott Aitchison

The last two years serving as Parry Sound-Muskoka’s Member of Parliament have given me unique insights and experience with respect to the job. I believe my successful experience as a municipal Councillor & Mayor well prepared me for this challenge. It is my municipal experience that taught me how to work collaboratively in a nonpartisan way to advance the interests of constituents. I also have private sector experience that was helpful to me in understanding the needs of businesses when I was assisting constituents during the COVID pandemic.
My experience as MP has also helped me understand both local and national issues. Given Parry Sound-Muskoka’s beautiful natural resources, I was especially pleased to be appointed to sit on the House of Commons Standing Committee on the Environment and Climate Change. My commitment to the environment remains a top priority.
Green Party, Marc Mantha

My experience as a Business Development Consultant with a green conscience gives me an understanding of the challenges and needs of the small businesses and self-employed individuals in this riding who depend so much on the quality of our environment for success. My volunteer work in the community gives me an understanding of the needs and aspirations of the people who live and work here. As a Green MP I will be free to work across party lines for the betterment of Parry Sound-Muskoka regardless of who leads the next minority government. Collaborating is our way out of this.

“Liberal candidate: Did not respond”. I hope and trust the Liberal supporters in this riding will remember this insult that national campaign has done to them. It’s a disgrace to see how the Liberals have turned their backs on the people of Parry Sound Muskoka. I predict that the Green Party will greatly profit from this here.
