Matt Richter announces candidacy for Green Party nomination in Parry Sound-Muskoka

Matt Richter, Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Ontario and past MPP candidate for Parry Sound-Muskoka, has officially applied for candidacy in the upcoming election. A nomination contest to select the Ontario Greens candidate for the riding will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Katrine Community Centre.

Richter, a dedicated community leader and long-time advocate for climate action, affordable housing, equity in healthcare, and resilient local economies, has run as the Green Party candidate in the region multiple times and is eager to continue his work toward a greener, more prosperous Parry Sound-Muskoka.

The contest will offer Ontario Green Party members in the area an opportunity to vote for their next representative. All eligible members are encouraged to participate in this important event and make their voices heard.
