Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the Fairvern Long-term Care Home on September 18th, 2025, at the age of 96.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved spouse, Carl Lewis Holotuk. Cherished mother to Ronald (Lori), Patsy Aitchison, and Ted (Penny). She will be missed and always remembered by her eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She is predeceased by her parents, William Barton and Irene Barton (nee Peever). Mary is also predeceased by her siblings Eileen Lamb (late Wilbert), Eva Piper (late Ken), Seymour (late Jessie), Harold (late Luella), Abbie, Mervin (late Elizabeth), Elmer (late Beatrice), Harry (late Lilian), and Lloyd Barton.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion 50 Hawthorne Dr, Restoule, ON P0H 2R0 on Thursday September 25th, 2025, followed by a casket burial at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Restoule as well as a luncheon at the Royal Canadian Legion. If desired, donations to the Restoule Legion Branch 639, Restoule United Church or a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family. My Condolences to the Holotuk family. Mary was a great role model as was Lou when I worked for them. I have always had the greatest respect for both of them and may they be happy back together again.
