Len Ross

Len Ross, 80, died very suddenly at home in Huntsville, ON, on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026.

He leaves behind his loving wife and partner of thirty-two years, Nina Semper-Ross, whom he loved dearly. He was also the proud father of Geoffrey Ross and his partner, Tiffany, of New York City, New York.

Len loved people, and he loved to talk! He would “work a room” and would work hard to find common ground before he left the conversation. He gave generously of his time and energy, most recently as the President of the Rotary Club of Huntsville (July 1st, 2023 to June 30, 2025); as the current President of the Trinity Non-profit Housing Corporation; he also founded and took an active role in the Men of Trinity’s Group at Trinity United Church. Len was widely known for his gift of service to others, which he performed without fanfare or notoriety. Len had a fair and balanced nature and was a kind man indeed. All whose lives he touched loved him very much. This kind, generous, and patient man was a blessing to all and will be sorely missed by those he left behind.

A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Len’s life at Trinity United Church, 33 Main Street East, Huntsville, ON, on Thursday, May 14th, 2026, at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow in Trinity Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity United Church or the Huntsville Rotary Club would be appreciated.

I am so shocked to hear of Len’s passing. Yes, I am a Kiwanian, but Len made it clear that our goals were the same and we looked forward to helping each other when we could. He truly not only ‘worked the room’ but lit it up as well.
I can only imagine the memories that most have of Len that worked and shared life with him for so long, as my experiences were simply over the pass couple of years, but the impact was large.
    Rest in peace my friend.
