It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lee Kevin Sawyer at the Algonquin Grace Hospice on June 22, 2025 with family at his side. He was 68.
Lee was born to Delbert and Margaret Sawyer on March 3, 1957 in Huntsville, Ontario. Lee grew up in Port Sydney, Ontario. He worked for Alcan Wire and Cable for over 25 years until it closure in 2002. He then became a custom painter and worked throughout Muskoka.
Lee was passionate about scuba diving, golf, baseball, hockey, hunting, fishing, travel and Casino Rama, but most of all getting together with family and friends.
Lee’s brave and loving spirit will be carried on by his daughters Jessica, Danielle (Rob Dicks), and Cassidy, his grandsons James, Liam and Lucas, his mother Margaret Sawyer McCully, sister Debbie and brother Clay (Darlene), along with other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his father Delbert and brother Marty.
To honor Lee’s memory a Celetration of Life will be held at the Huntsville Legion on July 19, 2025 from 1-4 p.m.
If so desired, memorial donations to the Huntsville hospital, Algonquin Grace hospice or Prostate cancer research would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.

Lee painted our new home for us in 2018! He actually was well worth the entertainment he brought with him every day that we were there when he was! So sorry for the families loss! He was a fun and great presence to have in our home!
