Welcome to Wayback Wednesday sponsored by Cavalcade Color Lab! Every week, we’ll be sharing a vintage photo and asking our readers to chime in with anything you can recall about the photo, other related memories, or even a funny caption. Have some vintage photos of your own? Send them to huntsville@doppleronline.ca and we may share them with our readers!

The Huntsville Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce is on the hunt for new digs. This building was its home at one time. Do you remember when? Where was this building located before it was demolished?

These photos, taken with a pinhole camera, had Doppler readers stumped. No one was able to name the students in these photos. Can you help solve the mystery?
Here’s what photographer Sandy McLennan had to say about the photos: “The attached photographs are taken of unknown students, likely at VK Greer, around 1986-1988. I had an Ontario Arts Council grant to lead students in making cardboard pinhole cameras, shooting photos and developing the film in a darkroom. These ‘selfies’ have no names on the backs and I’d love to know who they are, especially since I’m currently doing pinhole workshops with students who could be the children of these folks or their friends.”
