Many of you correctly guessed that this parade is on Brunel Road heading south from Main Street. And a few knew that HFB stands for Huntsville Fire Brigade.
This Huntsville Fire Brigade parade was on August 26, 1920. According to Susan Pryke’s Huntsville: With Spirit and Resolve, the official Huntsville Fire Brigade was organized in 1899 and won the Northern Volunteer Firemen’s Association banner more times than any other brigade between 1905 and 1914.
