I’m wondering if anyone remembers which business had the storefront facing Brunel with the sign “Fishing Tackle”. I recall buying fishing gear there in the late 1960s and early 70s and at that time I thought it was only a portion of the store and that there was also jewellery sold there. This is the first time I have seen anything that confirms the “fish story” I’ve been telling myself for years.
